Believe it or not we are already planning for next year. The dates have been decided, and we will be flying out on Wednesday 10/06/20 and returning Sunday 14/06/20. If you want to have your say about next years trip, flights, airports, number of games of golf etc. then make sure you attend this years AGM on Saturday 07/09/19 5:00 pm at the Bowie.
This years champion is The Gull destroying the field and winning with a round to spare. Jon won with 39 points, with the nearest contenders Jay and Barry each with 23 points. For those of you who have not been told Jon has left the Society as he feels he has been victimised by myself on the Whatsapp group and he was also made to feel humiliated by fellow society members in Spain. Jon has removed himself from the Whatsapp group and advised he no longer wants to be part of this Society, so will not participate in any of the Society days or the trip to Spain.
Congratulations goes to Steve Taylor for winning the illustrious multi coloured jacket as overall Spanish champion. It also makes a pleasant change to be mentioning somebody new to the title rather than the usual suspects. Details of this years Spanish trip can be found on the Dequesa 2020 page.

On 07/08/1960 little Raymond Tennant was born weighing in probably about a stone. Cliff Richard and the Shadows where number 1, in the UK charts, with please don't Tease and Burnley where league 1 Champions. Keep your diary's open for a possible weekend in Wales later this year!
