Can I start by giving a big thanks to all the society members who without you these trips just wouldn't be what they are. Year on year the turn out is unbelievable, putting pressure on the organisers to whether they can cope with the demand. Discussions will be held again during the AGM as to how the numbers are managed going forward, as if everyone who has attended Spain in the past, wants to go next year, we would have 34 attendees! A big thanks goes out as usual for Tenno for all the graft he puts into organising these trips, and in finding 3 courses which everyone attending can enjoy. Thanks to Paul for booking the flights and sorting out the nightmare task of organising everybodies boarding passes. To Steve for putting in the time and effort, in calculating the handicaps for the following rounds. To everyone who helped with the marking of the cards at the end of each round. To Ste Munn for his time and effort in organising the sweep.
Congratulations go out to this years competition winner Steve 'Del boy Trotter' Taylor who finally delivered on, "this time next year, I'm going to win in Spain". Funnily enough, although this cannot be confirmed, he never once mentioned, this time round about winning in Spain!!!
