It only seems like yesterday we where sitting in the sun and enjoying a pint but as I write this there are only 4 months until we will be on the flight back to Spain. Go to the Duquesa 2017 page to view this years itinerary and golf courses.
So the 2016 Old Holts Society champion has been decided with Frank Kehoe edging out Tenno by one point in the opening society event at Fishwicke Hall. Well done Frank and hopefully we will be able to present the trophy at the next society event at Old Padeswood.
Congratulations goes to Steve Jones for winning the illustrious multi coloured jacket as overall Spanish champion, despite his best efforts to lose it on the final day. Has Mick Cain only loaned out his jacket or will we have another new name to add to the list of Spanish winners. And no doubt prior to this years trip you will hear Ste Taylor tell you 'this is his year'!!!
Unfortunately this year due to other commitments Paul Connor will not be able to join us in Duquesa. On a positive note for Bar owners, Brian won't have anyone to fight with and therefore won't be ejected from any bars.
