Well only 4 months until we will be back to our favourite haunt. Visit the Duquesa 2018 web page to see this years itinerary. Tenno has taken on board comments raised from last year in an attempt to make this years trip run more smoothly. It is a difficult task with 27 attending, so give him a thought and just remember 'you can't keep everyone happy all of the time'!
Hands up who was fed up of Taylor sounding like a LFC fan. Well not anymore because unlike Liverpool Mr Taylor did what he said he was going to do and picked up the Claret jug along with the title of OHGS Champion 2017. Lets see if he can complete the double this year by winning in Spain.
And congratulations goes to Mick Cain for winning the illustrious multi coloured jacket as overall Spanish champion. Lets Last year Mick was the Man City of the Society finishing a massive 16 pts ahead of his nearest contender Rob Lowe. Come on lads, next year I think we should all try to participate in the golf and not fund another trip for Mr Cain.
Can you guess who it is yet? Well I'm saying nothing, but pencil it in your diaries as he's having a weekend in Wales at the caravan to celebrate. We will hopefully be playing two rounds of golf (courses yet to be decided) and participating in the consumption of various ales and spirits. The proposed dates are Friday 07/09/18 returning on Sunday 09/09/18, lets hope you can all make it!!
